Easy Lasagna - No Ricotta

Ingredients:

- 1.5 lb ground beef

- 12 lasagna noodles

- 3 packed cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

- 1 egg

- 1⁄2 cup parmesan cheese

- 1 small white onion, chopped

- 3 1⁄2 cups tomato sauce

- 1⁄2 tsp minced garlic

- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.

Meanwhile, cook ground beef, onion, garlic, and pepper in skillet until beef is browned, add the tomato sauce, salt to taste, cook until thickened.

Beat egg with salt, pepper and a bit of milk, mix with 2 cups of the shredded mozarella and parmesan.

Lightly spray 9x13 glass baking dish with cooking spray. Place 4 lasagna noodles in bottom. Add 1/3 of the meat mixture. Repeat layers twice, ending with a layer of the meat mixture on the top.

Sprinkle remaining cup mozzarella on top. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until cheese on top gets golden brown and bubbly.


Note:

When reheating in microwave, sprinkle some parmesan on top.
