Ingredients:
- 32 ounces frozen French fries or 8 cups homemade French fries
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4-5 bacon strips, cut small
- 1 Lb regular ground beef (& seasonings)
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 green onions thinly sliced
- 8 cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced
Instructions:
Cook fries very crispy, either in the oven or the air fryer. While they are cooking, fry the bacon in its own fat in a pan. When done, remove bacon and fry the ground beef in the same fat (adding salt, pepper and desired seasoning, like taco, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, etc). Once done, remove the beef from the fat as well, let it drain.
Once the fries are crisp, remove them from the oven/air fryer and turn the broiler on to 500°F (or High). Lay the fries on a lined baking sheet. Top the fries with cheddar, browned beef and bacon and place back into the oven for 1-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Top with green onions and tomatoes. Drizzle with sour cream. Serve immediately.
